THe making of Hatsune Miku
how to build a hatsune miku costume from scratch or rathe from amazon, oh well.

Halloween is just around the corner and its time to start searching for those costumes. Problem is that all the pieces are sold separately and some are not even available. So i decided i would try and you put together costumes with accessories for your favorite anime characters. Every image is linked to the actual location were you can find the piece of the costume you're searching for so it should be really easy to set up. I've set things up so everything gets shipped in 1 to 2 business days anywhere in the world.
the price for the body piece is $86.95 but notice, you don't have the bouts and the earphones, also the nail extensions are not there and the hair does not come with the costume.Other variations of the costume are also available, including Maid Miku and Abridged Miku
First for the wig.

it costs about $10. and you're going to have to make the hair style yourself, its really quite the pain, still if you want to spend a little bit more money you can buy a pre-made hair style.
This one costs about $60.00 more or less. yes its more expensive but it has all you need to match her look. well almost everything you need sort of speak. there are still the boots and the ear phones, lets see how we find those little nick picky accessories.
The closest thing i found to Miku's headphones are the Wesc Bongo Headphones that come in Miku color as well.
these are pink but they have a variety that is black and blue and you can easily remove the logo sticker and replace it with Miku's logo.
they cost about $31.00 but i'm sure you can get em cheaper with an amazon card.
Finally for the boots. these took a while to find. the Fanshoes Women's Johns Hopkins University Rubber Boot come in to variations, one with a buch of ugly as sin images and one with the right colors to match the ones used by Miku.
Lets see, what am i forgetting, oh the price lol. They're $43.00 more or less. the picture here is of the other version, i couldn't get a picture to show up but when you go to inventory you can see the other variation of the shoes that fits Miku's style.
Now lets see the grand total for a full Hatsune Miku costume with all accessories
For full hatsune Miku outfit $86.95
For the Hatune Miku Hair, yes the hair is very important $62.50
For the matching Miku Headphones $31.34
For the Matching Hatsune Miku Boots 43.45
That ads up to a total of $224.24 When you think about how kool you'll look showing off your hatsune miku look 230 bucs doesn't seem like much right?. just tell your parents you want to go shopping for expensive uniforms, wings, headphones and boots, and if they don't send you to the loony bin you'll be ok. Plus there is the added bonus of being able to use all of these for school and nobody will notice the difference. The Miku Outfit is of very durable material, For 86 bucs it better be, and the wig will not stand out in a crowd. The headphones can be used OMG, as real headphones. they have that added feature and the boots, once you take off the black tape to hide that hideous logo are quite fashionable.
